General Services
The following terms apply to all services provided by Contact Front Security Ltd, including training courses and private security services.
All services are provided subject to availability and may be delivered directly by Contact Front Security Ltd or by authorised instructors, staff or subcontractors acting on our behalf.
Clients engaging Contact Front Security Ltd for security services may be subject to separate service agreements or contracts which will take precedence where applicable.
Training Courses
The following sections apply specifically to training courses delivered by Contact Front Security Ltd.
1. Course Bookings
All training courses delivered by Contact Front must be booked in advance through our website, by email or by prior arrangement.
A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
Places on training courses are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Payment Terms
All courses must be paid in full in advance of the course start date.
Payment is normally taken at the time of booking through our website.
Where payment is arranged by invoice, the full balance must be received before the course begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to make payment before the course start date may result in the booking being cancelled and the place released to another learner.
3. Discounts & Promotional Codes
From time to time Contact Front Security Ltd may offer promotional discounts, voucher codes or reduced pricing for training courses.
Discount codes must be applied at the time of booking through the website checkout.
Discounts cannot be applied after a booking has been completed and we are unable to partially refund orders where a promotional code was not used at the time of purchase.
Only one promotional code may be used per booking unless otherwise stated.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure any applicable discount code is entered during checkout before completing payment.
4. Course Attendance
Learners must attend the course in full and participate in all required training and assessments.
Late arrival, early departure or failure to complete all elements of the course may result in the learner being unable to complete the qualification.
In these circumstances the learner may be required to rebook and pay for the course again.
5. Late Arrival
Learners are expected to arrive on time for all training sessions.
Training courses operate to a strict schedule and late arrival may disrupt the course and other learners.
If a learner arrives late, Contact Front Security Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry to the course.
Where a learner is refused entry due to late arrival, the booking will be treated as a non-attendance and no refund will be issued.
6. Behaviour and Conduct
All learners are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner throughout the training course.
Contact Front Security Ltd reserves the right to remove any learner from a course if their behaviour is considered disruptive, unsafe, abusive or inappropriate towards trainers, staff or other learners.
Learners who are removed from a course for behavioural reasons will not be entitled to a refund and may be refused access to future courses.
Learners must follow all safety instructions during practical exercises, including physical intervention training where applicable.
7. Identification Requirements
Certain courses require learners to provide valid identification in line with awarding organisation and regulatory requirements.
For SIA licence-linked qualifications, learners must provide appropriate identification documents as required by the awarding organisation.
Failure to provide the required identification documentation on the day of the course may result in the learner being unable to complete the course or sit the assessment.
In such circumstances the learner will be recorded as not completed, and no refund will be issued.
8. Pre-Course Learning Requirements
Some courses include mandatory pre-course learning or online study which must be completed before attending the classroom training.
Failure to complete required pre-course learning may result in the learner being unable to complete the course.
Where this occurs, course fees remain payable and no refund will be issued.
9. Fitness to Participate
Some training courses include practical activities such as physical intervention training.
Learners must be physically able to participate safely in all practical elements of the course.
Contact Front Security Ltd reserves the right to prevent participation where there is a safety risk.
10. Course Transfers
If a learner is unable to attend a booked course, a request to transfer to a future course date may be considered.
Transfer requests should normally be made at least 7 days before the course start date.
Transfers are offered at the discretion of Contact Front and may be subject to an administration fee.
11. Cancellations & Refunds
Course bookings are generally non-refundable once confirmed.
This is due to the limited number of places available on each course and the costs associated with reserving training spaces and course materials.
In certain circumstances, Contact Front may offer the option to transfer the booking to a future course date at its discretion.
12. Failure to Attend
If a learner fails to attend a booked course without prior notice, the booking will be treated as a non-attendance.
No refund or transfer will be offered.
13. Certification
Certificates are issued by the relevant awarding organisation following successful completion of the course and all required assessments.
Learners must meet all course requirements in order to receive certification.
14. Course Changes
Contact Front reserves the right to change course dates, venues or trainers where necessary.
If a course must be cancelled by us, learners will be offered either:
- a transfer to an alternative course date, or
- a full refund of the course fee.
15. Liability
Contact Front Security Ltd will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to training venues.
Our liability for any claim relating to services provided shall be limited to the amount paid for the relevant service unless otherwise required by law.
