The Handcuff Training course delivers the Highfield Level 3 Award in the Safe Use of Mechanical Restraints (Handcuffs) (RQF).

This qualification provides security professionals with the knowledge and practical skills required to use mechanical restraints safely, lawfully and professionally in operational environments.

Learners will develop an understanding of the legal framework surrounding the use of mechanical restraints and will gain hands-on experience in the correct application and removal of handcuffs.

This qualification is particularly valuable for SIA Door Supervisors working in licensed venues, events and frontline security roles where the safe use of mechanical restraints may be required.
